“Today is a turning point. Despite our history of political neglect and the painful erosion of our land, we choose courage over despair. These 61 young people stand as proof that hope, when driven by vision, can change the destiny of any community.”

The initiative, hailed as the fulfillment of promises made years ago, is envisioned to usher in a “new Effiat” – one that will inspire pride among its sons and daughters while attracting admiration beyond its borders.

The historic event, which will take place on the 26th September, 2025, is to celebrate the admission of 60 students into the prestigious St. Columbanus Secondary School, Ikwen, Akwa Ibom State under full sponsorship provided by the Trust.
